Fresh out of law school in 1970 Rufe's son, Jim Korman (1942-2007), and Jim's wife, Peggy moved to Faribault, MN. Jim ran for Rice County Attorney that year and won. He waged a door-to-door campaign with a platform that consisted of a simple message: Efficient, Organized, Reliable. These fundamentals formed the foundation of the law firm, Korman Law Office, that he would run with tireless discipline for the next 36 years. Jim was active in real estate law and investing throughout his career. Jim's daughter, Debbie Korman, runs Korman Law Office.
